Centenary of the Cinema
In 1996 the country of Gibraltar produced a limited number of gold coins commemorating The Centenary of the Cinema. We have a few mint proof coins available. Most have very low authorized mintages ( 5,000 to 25,000 of each). Although the mintages listed were the maximum authorized by the respective governments, some coins may have been minted in quantities less than the maximum authorized. Coins come in the original round plastic holder. (Holders may show some slight scuffing, however the coins are beautiful GEMS!)
Each coin is made of ultra pure (99.99%) solid GOLD!
Size of the 1/25th ounce is about 13-14 mm in diameter, the 1/10th oz is about 17-18 mm, and the 1/5th oz. is 21 mm (about the size of a US nickel).
